• i remember when dr mendeliff made an appointment for my husband and i snd our daughter to speak with about her lung transplant we were waiting for he made her cry and was very cruel i never really saw her cry before except when she was a baby. St Louis aka Wash U aka Barnes Jewish said this wasaround 1998 we were also matched to do s living donor. This is what he said "why would you eant to wait when yiu could be worried about the prom and graduating youll be worried about dying" we still said we would wait till a cadaver. Well that never happened in the end they forced aliving donor on us and she died. Since then we worked with ACOT make sure i dependent advocates are now necessary. He was very cruel i guess anything goes in surgery and research. i will never forget what they did to us. Im sure hes very famous but him and Dr Sweet are only about themselves and allthe parents snd kids disliked them. She really dislukedDr Sweet and she liked everybody. i even told them what the other parents were saying and they started having parent meetings i could write s book on the crap they pulled. Look at st louis times articles by Debra Shelton. At least our testamonies in Washington DC changed it to children first instead of time onlist. Still remeber his face saying it.
